Obama va in Rete... e che goal!

Il presidente eletto Barack Obama ha fatto gli auguri di Natale agli americani dedicando un pensiero alle famiglie che hanno soldati al fronte in Iraq e in Afghanistan.

IL MESSAGGIO - «Molte famiglie celebrano con una gioia silenziosa» perché un familiare sta servendo la patria all'estero, ha detto Obama nel messaggio via radio e su YouTube registrato alle Hawaii. «Ecco perché questa stagione di generosità dovrebbe essere anche un momento per rinnovare un senso di impegno comune e di comunanza tra cittadini», ha detto ancora Obama nel breve discorso augurale.

This week, Americans are gathering with family and friends across the country to celebrate the blessings of Christmas and the holiday season.As we celebrate this joyous time of year, our thoughts turn to the brave men and women who serve our country far from home. Their extraordinary and selfless sacrifice is an inspiration to us all, and part of the unbroken line of heroism that has made our freedom and prosperity possible for over two centuries.Many troops are serving their second, third, or fourth tour of duty. And we are reminded that they are more than dedicated Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guard they are devoted fathers and mothers; husbands and wives; sons and daughters; and sisters and brothers.This holiday season, their families celebrate with a joy that is muted knowing that a loved one is absent, and sometimes in danger. Now, more than ever, we must rededicate ourselves to the notion that we share a common destiny as Americans that I am my brothers keeper, I am my sisters keeper. Caos alle Hawaii per la presenza del presidente eletto Barack Obama e famiglia. Obama ha portato le figlie Malia, 7 anni, e Sasha, 10, ad un parco acquatico a vedere uno spettacolo di delfini. La moglie Michelle è rimasta a casa. Al termine, il presidente degli Usa ha accompagnato le bimbe a mangiare in un centro commerciale. Intorno alla famiglia si è formata subito una folla di curiosi che ha bloccato la zona.
Chi c'era, descrive la situazione come surreale: il presidente eletto, le sue figlie Malia e Sasha, e un paio di amici di famiglia seduti a un tavolino a mangiare panini al tonno e formaggio e grattachecca circondati da una folla di curiosi e da nervosi agenti del Servizio Segreto.Poco prima Obama aveva attraversato il parcheggio del centro commerciale seguito da decine di curiosi e dagli agenti che cercavano di mantenere attorno a lui uno 'schermo' protettivo.
La vacanza hawaiana è gia' stata occasione per i paparazzi di fotografare un atletico Obama in costume da bagno e durante una visita a sorpresa a un parco acquatico dove ha assistito con le figlie a uno spettacolo di delfini. Fin dall'inizio il primo presidente nero degli Stati Uniti aveva annunciato di voler fare di tutto per non perdere il contatto con la vita quotidiana e mantenere un minimo di normalita' al di fuori della 'bolla' della Casa Bianca. Misteri di una nazione che si pone attraverso la Rete ed il contatto con la gente mentre in Italia la libertà viene umiliata da mille lodi anticostituzionali ed il contatto con i cittadini si risolve nel dono di una carity card o di un pò di zucchero filato... come diceva una canzone: "tristezza..per favore vai via.."
